Helping people in recovery who feel depressed, overwhelmed, or ashamed by clutter and want to create serenity in their space.
After recovering from an intense cycle of challenge such as active addiction, trauma, or loss, it’s not surprising that you’ve “let your home go” - or maybe you just never learned how to create the kind of space you long for and deserve. The healing you've worked so hard for is already transforming your life, but your space has yet to reflect this. Perhaps you:
feel ashamed and frightened to let anyone in the door, which contributes to feelings of isolation and disconnectedness?
struggle to fully integrate your increased self-worth as you look around at the chaos?
experience anxiety building up wondering what might be in those piles, while the things that bring you joy are hiding somewhere in there with all the scary stuff?
You are ready and willing to change, but just thinking about “tidying” brings up crippling overwhelm. Maybe you have tried one or more of the following:
Tackling it on your own, only to end up in tears or with more of a mess
Reading books, watching TV shows, or following social media on organizing and decluttering, without being able to translate it into action
Accepting help from friends or family that left you feeling judged, shamed, and pressured
Trying to get into routines like "10 minutes a day", "discarding 1 item a day", or "spring cleaning" that never seemed to stick or make a noticeable difference
Going to therapy or taking prescription medication to reduce the anxiety or give you enough pep or focus to get the job done
Hiring a professional organizer who created more overwhelm and work for you, suggesting you buy and install complicated systems before they can even get started helping you; or they did the work for you but you weren't able to find anything or sustain it
Would you like to:
create a place of serenity, honoring your home as a temple to the Divine, with all your possessions supporting everything you do to shine your light on the world?
make space to receive in your life - abundance, relationships, more healing, new activities, or something else?
stop hurting yourself with objects that trigger feelings of guilt, shame, disappointment, and self-criticism?
If this sounds like you, Material Miracles would be honored to welcome you into our circle of love and magic!

Testimonials
"Before I started working with Theda, I was living in a space that felt so overwhelming and suffocating that I didn’t even know where to begin. I had a challenging move into my apartment two years ago, and had never really unpacked or fully settled in and made it feel like home.
Theda’s supportive nature, methodical approach, and expert implementation of the KonMari® method have given me not only a tremendous sense of relief and a renewed sense of hope, but also real, tangible results in my space. Working with Theda has been a learning experience throughout the entire process, leaving me with practical tools and the confidence to continue the work on my own outside of our sessions.
The tools I’ve learned from Theda will stay with me, and the experience has genuinely changed the way I think about and interact with my living space. I now feel like I have the ability to create and maintain a home that feels peaceful, functional, and truly my own."
